ABSTRACT
Can an organ that has lost
its regenerative power get it back?
In the aging liver, the power to regenerate declines. By working with organoids at fetal and neonatal stages of differentiation, we create a state we call “heterochrony”, looking for ways to release the failure of regeneration.
Extending the life of an organ extends the healthy life of a person.
